Isadora and her American husband Ben tackle the ambitious restoration of a crumbling 500 year old Medieval farmhouse in Devon. They are determined to breathe new life into this historic building - parts of which are literally falling to pieces.

They have grand plans for this sprawling estate, where they hope to convert the outbuildings into exclusive holiday lets, and renovate the main manor house for themselves. 

But when their income from the States dries up, this huge project turns into an ongoing battle against decades of decay, missed deadlines and rising costs.
